Following his latest health scare, legendary producer Clive Davis is now recuperating at home after spending the last week in the hospital.

The 94-year-old Grammy winner was discharged from a New York City hospital after he was admitted on Friday, May 29, PEOPLE confirms.
"Clive was discharged from the hospital earlier today," a spokesperson for Davis told PEOPLE on Thursday, June 4. "He is in good spirits and happy to be recuperating at home."
Davis is the famed music A&R credited with discovering Aerosmith, Billy Joel, The Isley Brothers, Pink Floyd, and Earth, Wind and Fire, among others.
A former general manager of Columbia Records, Davis currently serves as the Chief Creative Officer of Sony Music Entertainment Worldwide.
TMZ previously reported that Clive was hospitalized in New York last week after developing an upper respiratory infection. At the time, his spokesperson said he had been admitted as a precautionary measure and was expected to make a quick recovery.
The music mogul has battled health issues in the past. In 2021, Davis was diagnosed with Bell's palsy.
Bell's palsy is a condition that causes sudden weakness in the muscles on one side of the face. Often the weakness is short-term and improves over weeks. The weakness makes half of the face appear to droop. It can occur at any age, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Clive Davis Remains Active in the Music Industry
Despite the health scares over the years, Davis remains active in the music industry. Since joining Sony Music in 2008, Davis has spearheaded projects involving major artists.
He co-produced the Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody biopic and managed several Aretha Franklin tributes. Davis also helped ignite the careers of iconic singers Jennifer Hudson and Alicia Keys.
Davis was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 as a non-performer. Throughout his storied career, he has amassed five Grammy wins.
