Drake is going all in on Lionel Messi and Argentina to win the World Cup Final. The "Hotline Bling" rapper placed a whopping $1.5 million bet on Argentina to repeat as World Cup champions.

The Grammy Award-winning rapper shared a screenshot of his massive $1.5 million bet slip from Stake on Instagram on Friday.
Should Argentina bring home the gold, Drake would be in line for a $5.1 million payout.
"What's that saying??? Better luck next time...say less," Drake wrote in the caption of the post.
Spain is currently favored over Argentina to win the World Cup Final on Sunday. However, slowing down Lionel Messi will be a tall task for Spain.
Messi's eight goals are the second-most in the tournament. Entering Sunday's World Cup final, Messi has 21 all-time World Cup goals, which ranks second in FIFA history.
With Messi leading the way, Argentina can never be counted out. And Drake is banking on them to seal the deal.
Can Argentina Avoid the Drake Curse?
Despite Drake exuding confidence in Argentina on social media, the Canadian star's sports betting history has been less than stellar.
Drake's sports betting history has been so bad that the internet has labeled his sports wagers as the "Drake Curse." There is even a website dedicated to tracking his poor sports betting decisions.
Drake has bet a total of 87 times — publicly, that is.
According to TheDrakeCurse.com, he's won 32 of those publicly disclosed bets. That means he's lost 55 times, so his win percentage is 38.6 percent.
Although batting .368 would put him on a Hall of Fame trajectory in baseball, fans have poked fun at his sports betting track record online.
The latest example of his "curse" came July 10 when he placed $1 million on Conor McGregor to defeat Max Holloway. McGregor didn't land a single blow and lasted just 69 seconds in the highly anticipated match. The Irish fighter blew out his knee in the opening seconds of the fight and lost via TKO.
Argentina fans are hoping for a better fate and aim to avoid the "curse" in the 2026 World Cup Final.
Argentina will face Spain on Sunday, July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
