During his performance at Double JJ Resort in Michigan, the "Buy U A Drank" singer debuted an unreleased song featuring Oliver Tree, who tragically died in a helicopter crash in Brazil on June 14.
Footage of the emotional performance, which included a video montage of Oliver Tree, shows T-Pain performing a never-before-heard collaboration with the fallen pop star. The song capped the end of his back-to-back set with DJ Diesel (Shaquille O'Neal).
Pain, who boasts 25 million monthly listeners on Spotify, said that he had been sitting on the unreleased song for two years.
"Last night, me and Shaq and the team stayed up till, like, 3:00 a.m. to get it ready to play for tonight," he said. "Because I realized life is too motherf*****g short. And when it's time to put that sh*t out, just go ahead and put that sh*t out."
