The companies announced the introduction of a Goth Girl Spit energy drink that has taken the nation by storm.
"Partnered up with Echelon to create the world's greatest energy drink. Yes it's real. Goth Girl Spit zero sugar energy drink," Whitephosphor revealed on Instagram.
The meme-inspired product launched on May 28 and has already sold out.
Echelon joked that the saliva of goth women was used for testing purposes. Unfortunately, for those thirsting for actual goth girl spit, the company confirmed that there is none included in the energy drink.
Over on the Echelon website, the company added an RSVP list for the energy drink restock.
Consumers can purchase the sugar-free drink by the dozen. Each pack of Goth Girl Spit costs $35.99, according to the website.
Consumers Rave About Goth Girl Spit
Reviews for the sold-out beverage have begun pouring in on the Echelon product page. Needless to say, consumers are satisfied with their purchase.
"Well, I've been banned from drinking these I've only had one, and my wife decided that the rest are hers," one user wrote.
"Somehow, the product is even better than the idea of the product. I've never gone through a case so fast, so hard. And I've never saved my trash to look at fondly," said another satisfied customer.
Eager consumers who missed out on the first batch pined for a quick restock on social media.
"I'm watching the timer waiting for the drop," a user commented on Instagram.
"Why is it that I just see this post today, and you guys are already sold out. TAKE MY MONEY DAMN IT," another replied.
