"Do I blame him for taking medicine? Hell, no," Player, 90, said. "He has sleep deprivation. Do I blame him for taking something to help him sleep? No. But I don't think he should drive a car. When you're taking that medicine, it's dangerous when you're driving a car, same as it's dangerous when you look at your cellphone in the car."
After his car crash and arrest, Woods left the country for treatment. Police found two hydrocodone pills on his person. Player hopes that the golfer can get everything sorted out.

"My heart goes out for him," he said. "There's nothing worse than living in pain every day of your life. You can't think of anything worse. I just hope he can get it all sorted out because he's such an asset to golf and has done so much for the game."
He's far from the first golfer to weigh in on Woods' arrest. Golfer Jason Day didn't mince words about Woods. He called him selfish when weighing in on the crash.
"In regards to Tiger, it just shows the human element and the human side of someone that is struggling with some sort of an addiction," Day, 38, told reporters at the Masters. "He's not immune to it just because he can hit a golf ball really well."
Day continued, "Granted, when I look at that, I look at it and go, he's just a human being like everyone else and we have struggles. It's unfortunate, the only thing that I don't understand is that it's a little bit selfish of him to drive and put other people in harm's way, as well. But when you're the player that he was and how strong-willed he is, he thinks he can do almost anything, and that's probably why he's probably driving and a little bit under the influence."
