Glenn Frey's Incredible Los Angeles Home is up for Sale

If you're hanging on to $15 million and looking for a California getaway, check out Glenn Frey's former home. The late, great frontman of legendary band the Eagles bought the home in 2002. Now, the 8,000 square foot masterpiece just hit the market again.

Frey sadly passed away last year at age 67 after a lengthy battle with various health complications. Known for his smooth, country-infused tenor, Frey and bandmate Don Henley penned some of rock and roll's most iconic songs.

Frey settled in Los Angeles area on a scenic 30,000 square foot plot of land. The mediterranean-style home went up in 1996, and media mogul Michael King owned it before Frey.

The home includes six bedrooms and eight full baths. It also has three fireplaces on its two stories. Gorgeous wood and stone floors spend the home throughout.

The upstairs master bedroom features a balcony overlooking the grounds. It also has separate sitting rooms and dual baths.

The large backyard features formal gardens as well as patios and sitting areas.

There is also, of course, the mandatory California swimming pool, complete with a separate cabana and spa.

And for those who need to stay in shape (which is more or less everybody in the entertainment industry), there's a home gym in the guest house.

After Glenn Frey formed the Eagles with Henley in 1971, the band skyrocketed to worldwide fame. They even lay claim to one of the best-selling albums of all time, their early Greatest Hits album.

The band eventually broke up and the various members went on to somewhat successful solo careers. But then, in the mid-1990s, they got back together. Henley and Frey continued touring together until Frey's death last year. Since then, Vince Gill recently stepped in to perform some shows with the band.
