Jennifer Runyon has sadly passed away at the age of 65, following a battle with cancer. Jennifer previously appeared in the cult classic 1984 smash hit Ghostbusters in the role of a female student.

In a statement on Facebook, Jenifer's loved ones announced her death.
"This past Friday night our beloved Jennifer passed away," the statement said. "It was a long and arduous journey that ended with her surrounded by her family. She will always be remembered for her love of life and her devotion to family and friends. I know from above she's looking down on all of us with her beautiful smile. Rest in peace our Jenn."
Fellow actress Erin Murphy, who is a noted friend of Jennifer's, also posted a statement to social media.
"So sad to share that my friend Jennifer Runyon Corman has passed away after a brief battle with cancer," Erin wrote. "Some people you just know you'll be friends with before you even meet. She was a special lady. I'll miss you Jenn. My thoughts are with your family and beautiful children."
Jennifer's death has led to an outpouring of love, both from fans and other actors.
Jennifer Runyon Had 38 Acting Credits to Her Name
Throughout her career, Jennifer has amassed 38 acting credits to her name. Her first role came via To All A Goodnight, where she played Nancy in 1980.
The following year, Jennifer landed a role on the 80s TV Show, Another World, where she appeared in 111 episodes in the role of Sally Frame. Just a year after leaving the show, Jennifer appeared in both Up The Creek and Ghostbusters, swapping the TV screen for the big screen.
Jennifer also appeared in an episode of Magnum PI in 1987, and had an 18-episode run on Charles In Charge. Some of the bigger-name shows she appeared on also included Murder She Wrote and Beverly Hills 90210.
Her last role came via Gunfight At Silver Lake in 2020.
Currently, there is no information surrounding Jennifer's impending funeral and service. Those details will likely remain private for family and close friends.
