Fans of Elvis Presley will once again have the chance to get their very own a piece of history from the King of Rock and Roll.
On Aug. 13, The Auction at Graceland will be held as a part of Elvis Week 2015. This year, 174 pieces of memorabilia will be up for grabs, including a jacket worn during a scene in Viva Las Vegas, a concert poster from Presley's 1970 tour and a "TCB" Diamond and Gold Necklace that Presley gifted to Sammy Davis Jr.
The annual auction will begin at 7 PM CST inside the Graceland Archives Studio in Memphis, Tenn. If you can't make it in person, you can bid on items ahead of time through The Auction at Graceland's website. Last year, a huge lot of Presley-related items was auctioned off, including his very first recording, which was sold to rocker Jack White for $300,000.
Presley died from a heart attack inside Graceland at the age of 42 on Aug. 16, 1977. Elvis Week is an annual event commemorating the incredible achievements and memorable moments from Presley's career. Each year, the week is wrapped up by a candlelight vigil held overnight by the Presley family and fans to remember his untimely passing.
