Tamirah Dix, 40, died after reportedly hitting her head at Toro Verde Adventure Park in Orocovis last Saturday.
The incident occurred before she went on the zip-lining course, but she chose to continue with the activity afterwards.

Believing she was unharmed, Dix rejoined her family and carried on with the day.
However, her condition quickly began to deteriorate. During lunch, she refused to eat and started vomiting, raising immediate concern among her family.
They drove her back to their hotel in Dorado, but her health worsened during the journey. Dix reportedly suffered multiple seizures along the way.
The group called 911, and she was transported to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts to save her, Dix died later that evening.
"I'm really crushed because that's my everyday person," Dix's best friend Brittani Hebron told NBC affiliate WXIA.
"I'm on the phone with her at work, I'm on the phone with her after work. She'll lift me up, pick me up. She likes to elevate people."
Investigation Ongoing as Family Seeks Answers
A GoFundMe campaign has since been launched to bring Dix back to the United States for a "proper farewell."
As of April 4, the fundraiser has raised more than $24,000 toward a $35,000 goal.
"The investigation is still ongoing, but preliminary info points to an accidental hit to her head," the fundraiser description reads.
A spokesperson for Toro Verde Adventure Park said the company has no record of the incident but confirmed it will cooperate fully with authorities.
"We will not make any further statements regarding this matter at this time, as it is an ongoing investigation; however, we reiterate that at Toro Verde Adventure Park, we maintain strict safety protocols that require the immediate notification of—and response to—any incident, no matter how minor," Operations Manager Emanuel Ortiz said in a statement, via PEOPLE.
"Our staff is highly trained to respond swiftly and effectively to any situation, adhering to internationally recognized standards."
Dix's family is still awaiting the results of her autopsy as they search for answers surrounding her sudden death.
