Authorities have sentenced a man from Georgia to 20 years behind bars after allegedly planting a bomb at a woman's home and planning to set a python on her daughter.

According to a report by People, police arrested two men in connection with a house explosion in Richmond Hill in January 2023. Stephen Glosser, 37, and Caleb Kinsey, 34. An improvised device reportedly exploded around 5 am at the home while a woman and her daughter were inside.
Fortunately, neither were hurt in the blast. The outlet explains that Glosser knew the homeowner, and she had only moved into the residence the previous day.
Per a press release from the United States Attorney's Office, from February 20, Glosser faces 20 years behind bars. He reportedly pleaded guilty to a string of offences, including planting and detonating the bomb.
Glosser's guilty plea detailed a plan to "kill, intimidate, harass, or injure" the homeowner. This reportedly included "conspiring to acquire and shoot arrows into the victim's front door, acquire and release a large python into the victim's home to eat the victim's daughter, acquire and mail dog feces to the victim's home, acquire and mail dead rats to the victim's home, to scalp the victim, and to blow up the victim's home."
Glosser Tried To Hide Evidence Of Bomb Making At His Home
Glosser managed to track the woman down using Internet searches and an image she had previously sent him. The press release explains that Glosser and a co-conspirator bought exploding targets online and used the materials to fashion a bomb.
The pair even hired a cleaning company in an attempt to hide evidence of bomb-making at his house. As for Glosser's co-conspirator, the press release stresses that they are innocent until proven guilty. Authorities reportedly took them into custody in Louisiana on unrelated charges.
Following the guilty plea, U.S. District Court Chief Judge R Stan Baker sentenced Glosser to 240 months in prison. He pleaded guilty to 'Stalking and Use of an Explosive to Commit Another Felony Offense.'
Glosser was also ordered to pay $507,781 in restitution and to serve three years of supervised release after completion of his prison term.
