This Gas Station Might Have the Funniest Road Signs in America

One gas station in Seattle, Wash. has been causing a stir online thanks to the hilarious messages posted on their business's road sign.

The Wallingford Sign is located outside of a Chevron in Wallingford, Wash., and has been bringing a smile to visitor's faces for years. After the business was converted from an auto repair shop to a gas station in 2005, the owner realized he had no idea what to do with the sign. Instead of advertising his products, he decided to use the glowing road sign to share witty phrases and puns for passersby to enjoy.

Over the years, it has become a favorite of both locals and tourists who stop to snap photos of the sign. It has become so popular that it even has its own Facebook and Twitter page, which shares updates on the sign's latest messages.

Here's a sampling of some of the sign's best messages so far.

The owners even kept a sense of humor when the beloved sign was severely dented by an off-roading vehicle.
