Country star Gary Allan is shutting the doors on his menswear boutique in Nashville to focus on a new passion - jewelry-making.
In 2011, Allan opened up "The Label" in Nashville's trendy 12 South district with his stylist Renee Layher. The store's mission was to help musicians in town find trendy designer clothes that meshed with Allan's rock-inspired style.
Although the store has been successful for over five years, the decision to shut down the business was announced just last week through their Facebook page.
So why is Allan shutting down his business? He's simply focusing on his newfound love of jewelry-making. Although The Label was selling some of Allan's pieces in-store, it seems the singer wants to pour all of his time and energy into this new creative outlet.
It's unclear what the next steps for the "Gary Allan Jewelry Line" will be, but we can't wait to see what he has in store. Until then, fans in Nashville can snap up The Label's inventory for 50-70% off while it lasts.
