Garth Brooks gave a surprise club performance last night in Nashville.
1,000 lucky fans got a chance to watch Brooks perform at Marathon Music Works on Wednesday evening. The show, hosted by country DJ Bobby Bones, lasted over an hour and featured a setlist packed with some of Brooks' biggest hits.
Brooks brought service members onstage to help him sing "All-American Comeback Kid", a track from the new Man Versus Machine album. Trisha Yearwood, Brooks' wife, was in the crowd mingling with fans and VIPs.
This was the first time Brooks has played a club show since the 90s.
"Garth hasn't played anywhere this small in 20 years," Bones told the audience. "It's Garth Freaking Brooks tonight!"
The show was a foretaste of Brooks' upcoming world tour, which kicks off on Friday and Saturday in Detroit.
