"Public relations legend Nancy Seltzer passed away after a brief hospital stay this week, leaving behind a legacy that shaped decades of entertainment history — often quietly, always with integrity, dogged determination, and purpose," the statement read. "...In an industry built on visibility, Nancy Seltzer chose discretion. In a business driven by ego, she led with loyalty. And in moments that demanded strength, she offered calm."
Brooks also made a brief statement on the loss of his long-time friend
"Public relations is the hardest job in show business," Garth Brooks said of his friend and colleague. "She always handled every situation with the utmost class."
Nancy worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood throughout her career. Those names included Robert Downey Jr., Sean Connery and the late Whitney Houston.
There have been no details regarding what led to Nancy's passing, nor has her age been made public. Still, it's clear that Hollywood will be in mourning for someone who touched the lives of many and approached her work with passion and discretion.
Garth Brooks Has Teased Heading Out on Tour
As for Garth Brooks' music career, the country icon is considering heading back out on tour.
"I'm an artist, I HAVE to make music," Garth wrote on his website. "And I'm an entertainer, so I HAVE to take the music to the people."
For now, though, the country legend has two big shows lined up. The first is at Milwaukee's American Family Insurance Amphitheater, where he will appear at the Summerfest festival. Then, Brooks will head over to London, where he will play at the famed Hyde Park in June.
Still, some fans read into his post online and began wondering whether he's planning another tour. If he does, it will likely be in the second half of 2026. Nevertheless, if Brooks goes on tour, tickets will sell, that's just how big of a star he is. The only question to ask is what cities, and potentially countries, his tour will take him to.
