Thanks to Garth Brooks, one couple just got the most epic gender reveal possible.
According to Country Rebel, Wesley and Katy Hansen had brought a sign to the show that read: "Working on a full house. Boy? Girl?" Brooks stopped the set to pull the couple on stage.
Katy handed Brooks an envelope, explaining that their baby's sex was written inside. The couple, whose baby is due in December, didn't know if they were having a boy or a girl. When Brooks asked if it was their first baby, Katy let out a little dance, saying "Yes!" Brooks promised the couple after that baby is born, they'll want more children.
Brooks went on ask about possible names. Naturally, the couple have decided on "Brooks," whether it's a boy or a girl.
"I've gotta tell you, I'm extremely happy for you because I have three of these," Brooks says to the Hansens. The crowd goes nuts. You can see Katy say "It's a girl" to Wesley. There's a long hug, smiles and a ton of excitement.
And yes, Brooks even offers some parenting advice, saying that she'll need to be reminded that "she doesn't need a stinkin' boy to tell her how cool she is."
To top it off, Brooks makes the Hansens the deal of a lifetime: if he's still alive when little Brooks goes to college, he'll pay for it. The parents-to-be look shocked and grateful.
Finding out the sex of your baby is already exciting enough. Can you imagine if a music legend gave you the good news?
Brooks did the gender reveal at a recent show in Los Angeles. He's been performing to sold-out venues across the country throughout the summer, and also has a few shows announced for the fall. His recent set in Louisiana was also recorded to be featured on an upcoming live album.
This isn't the only incredible gift Brooks has given fans at his concerts. He recently offered to send a newly engaged couple to Hawaii for their honeymoon.
