If you didn't land a free ticket or won't be in Nashville the day after Thanksgiving, don't fret about completely missing out on Garth Brooks' Nov. 24 concert that doubles as the grand opening of his Lower Broadway establishment, the Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk.
Amazon's Prime Video streaming service will air the event as its first-ever Black Friday Amazon Music Live (AML) special. Twitch will also stream the broadcast, which begins at 7 p.m. ET. It's part of a double-header with the first Black Friday game in NFL history, which pits the Miami Dolphins against the New York Jets.
"Amazon Music Live and Garth Brooks are coming together for Black Friday after the game to livestream a special 'Dive Bar' concert from the grand opening of the Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk in Nashville," Brooks shared in a statement. "We've already seen over 3 million entries to win a chance to attend, and thanks to our friends at Amazon, this episode will ensure that everybody who wants to see this show can. Not only will the people see the Friends bar for the first time, but they will also hear new music live for the first time...and if you know us, we will be playing the old stuff, as well."
Per Billboard, "Viewers will have free access to Amazon Music Live, including viewers without an Amazon account or a Prime membership."
Twitch will air an AML pre-show starting at 6 p.m. ET which will be co-hosted by Kelly Sutton and Amber Anderson from the Amazon Country Heat Weekly podcast.
Viewers can learn those new songs ahead of time. Brooks' Ronnie Dunn duet "Rodeo Man" drops on Monday (Nov. 6), with new album Time Traveler arriving the following day. Time Traveler's part of Brooks' third and final Limited Series box set, which will be sold exclusively by Bass Pro Shop.
