Garth Brooks is one of the most talented and well-known country artists of the last few decades. So it's no surprise the award-winning singer's daughter, Allie Brooks, is also a talented musician. The 20-year-old singer-songwriter has a stunning and refreshing voice. Allie, who's also a Belmont University student, has been writing her own music for some time now and performs around Nashville.
Allie had the opportunity to showcase her music in Belmont's recent series, Inside the Industry. She sang her own original song, "Close Enough," a beautiful, catchy ballad. The video also proves that she's a talented guitarist as well!
With her father and step-mother (Trisha Yearwood) being huge country stars, Allie has been surrounded by the music business her whole life. She doesn't want to ride the coattails of her famous family, though. In a Facebook post from last year, she explained that she wants to make a career based on her own talent and not live in the shadow of someone else's. With a voice like that, we don't think that will be a problem.
