Garth announces two concerts in Nebraska in early May.
Garth Brooks has announced two new shows in Omaha, Nebraska. The new dates, May 8 and May 9, are the newest dates for his ongoing Man Against the Machine world tour, which kicked off in September last year. Tickets will go on sale March 27 at 10 AM, CT through TicketMaster.
Brooks' unique strategy of releasing the dates and locations of his tour one stop at a time has kept fans on their toes. The Man Against the Machine tour has already put on nearly a hundred shows. The tour kicked off in Illinois last year and has stopped in many eastern and midwestern states, from Florida to Massachusetts and Kentucky to Oklahoma.
The tour hits the West Coast for the first time later this month, with stops in Portland, Sacramento and Denver. Fans on the West Coast can expect Brooks to continue to announce dates and locations nearby. Brooks' shows have been selling out in days and breaking ticket records across the nation. Both upcoming shows in Portland and Sacramento will be the biggest the respective theatres have ever seen.
To Brooks, the shows aren't about the money; he says he's only traveling to places that have the most fun. He and his crew are selecting cities for their tour based on if they have good memories of former shows and if their brand of concert has been accepted there.
