"Tom was a familiar face to many from his numerous television and film credits, including Doctor WhoJames Bond and Game of Thrones," Fantom wrote in a statement, via PEOPLE. "He was always a warm and friendly man to work with, and we send our condolences to his family at this sad time."

In 1979, Chadbon made Doctor Who history when he appeared opposite Tom Baker in the story City Of Death. The episode drew more than 16 million live viewers. It's the most-watched episode of the popular Sci-Fi show in history.

Chadbon returned to Doctor Who in 1986's The Trial Of A Time Lord, although he played a much smaller role. More recently, Chadbon played High Septon Maynard in the season 7 finale of the ever-popular smash hit, Game Of Thrones. Ultimately, that on-screen appearance proved to be Chadbon's last.

Tom Chadbon Had Over 100 Acting Credits

Chadbon amassed a total of 122 acting credits throughout his career, per IMDB. Among those credits, an appearance in James Bond is among them. He played the stockbroker in Casino Royale, which first hit our screens in 2006.

It was in 1968 that Chadbon was first introduced to his audience, appearing in one episode of The Jazz Age. In the coming years, he continued to make cameos across a string of shows. In fact, it wasn't until 1977 that Chadbon had his first multi-episode run with one show. He appeared in 13 episodes of The Liver Birds, with the show running between 1977 and 1979. He then followed that up with a five-episode stay in Jackanory in 1979.

Later in his career, Chadbon made 51 appearances on Casualty, which has been a staple of English television for decades. Over the years, he's also worked as a voice actor on video games such as Dragon Age II, and has been part of multiple podcasts, including Blake's 7: The Liberator Chronicles.
