Despite two recent bouts with cancer, Dave Coulier managed to wish his Full House co-star congratulations on his latest honor.

Coulier's cancer battle began in 2024, after revealing he'd been diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The comedian and actor, who played wisecracking Uncle Joey on Full House and its sequel series, Fuller House, announced he was cancer free after five months of treatments.
However, the 67-year-old was forced to battle cancer a second time last year, when he revealed he had been diagnosed with tongue cancer. This past February, Coulier revealed that this second cancer was in remission.
Now, despite his cancer battles in recent years, Coulier took time to give his Full House co-star and long-time friend, John Stamos, a heartfelt shout-out earlier this week.
Coulier popped up via a video message as his buddy was honored with the Bob Saget Legacy Award by the Scleroderma Research Foundation at its Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine fundraising event on Oct. 13.
"I'm so sorry that I can't be there at the Scleroderma Research Foundation's Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine event because... well, I'm here on a tractor in Michigan," Coulier quipped in the footage, per PEOPLE.
Ever the comedian, Coulier then uttered a zinger that got the audience giggling.
"I want to congratulate you, John, on receiving the Bob Saget Legacy Award. You and Bob have always been like beautiful sisters to me, and I love you very much," he continued.
"And you Scleroderma people, man, you sure know how to put on a great show," he concluded in the sweet message. "So enjoy the rest of the night and raise lots of money."
John Stamos Remembers His Late Full House Co-Star, Bob Saget: "People Leave Behind a Legacy"
In fairness, comedy seems to be the love language for the Full House alums. Stamos himself couldn't help but crack wise while remembering their late co-star Bob Saget, who passed away in 2022.
"Well, it makes me sad that [Bob]'s not here giving it to me. But it's, you know, it's an honor," Stamos told PEOPLE before the event. "Whatever few awards or things that I've received over the years, it's just the most important to me. Especially to carry on."
"I mean, look, you know, people leave behind a legacy," Stamos added about Saget, who played the Tanner's patriarch on Full House. "You know, people talk about, you know, missing someone. But we never talk about really what they've left behind. Bob left this behind. Sure, there's television, sitcoms and reruns and whatever. But this is a legacy. This is something to leave behind. And I just want to really acknowledge that."
