Frio River Cocktail
The Frio River, located in Southern Texas, travels through land lush with grapefruit trees. This Frio River Cocktail showcases grapefruit.
Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon
- 1/2 oz sweet vermouth
- 1 oz grapefruit juice
- 1/2 oz Chambord
- 1 dash bitters
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice combine the bourbon, sweet vermouth, grapefruit juice, and Chambord. Shake 15 seconds and strain into a glass. Add bitters and garnish with a slice of grapefruit.
Notes
We prefer to use Texas Rio Star grapefruit for this drink.
Make up a pitcher of this drink by multiplying the recipe by x4.
