It's always hard to believe it when someone overdoses on drugs, which is why the friends of 3 women who died in Belize are demanding further investigation.

The three women, Kaoutar Naqqad, 23, Imane Mallah, 24, and Wafae El-Arar, 26, were found dead in their hotel room in Belize. They were in a room containing a few vapes, gummies, and alcohol. There were no signs of struggle, forced entry, or damage to the three women.
The Belize police have been led to believe that the girls overdosed due to the alcohol and gummies. They were each found with vomit beside their bodies. The investigation is ongoing, but a friend of the three women doesn't think an OD is possible.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police, made a statement about the situation. "The police did a thorough search of the scene, along with the pathologists and scenes of crime," he revealed. "There was nothing of substance that could have been found other than alcohol and some gummies. We're not saying at this time that the gummies caused death, but we're looking at every possibility."
Friend Claims Three Women Wouldn't Touch Drugs
Hajar El Khalfaoui, the friend of the three women, struggles to believe her friends would do drugs. She has spoken out about the likelihood of the current suspected cause of death. "When I graduated, Imane didn't want me to go to a party, she said she didn't want to go because there would be drinking there. That was the kind of person she was. So when they said that it was OD, I will never believe that was true," she told NewsCenter 5.
The cause of death is still yet to be confirmed. However, Khalfaoui refuses to accept that an OD could have killed the three women. "It's very frustrating because when you hear possible OD, automatically you attribute characteristics to that person, but that could be the farthest thing from the truth," she said.
However, if the three women were inexperienced with alcohol and drugs, this could have led to an overdose. Mixing drugs for the first time can be a risky business. However, the case is still open.
