With "clear eyes and a full heart," the cast of Friday Night Lights gathered for a special 10-year anniversary photo and celebration during the ATX Television Festival in Austin over the weekend.
The photo brought together fan favorites, like Connie Britton, Scott Porter, Gaius Charles, Stacey Oristano, Adrianne Palicki, Matt Lauria, Brad Leland and Jesse Plemons. The show's Christian metal band was also present and put on a reunion performance, with Louanne Stephens playing tambourine.
After posing for the photo, the group headed out to Panther Field for a tailgate party and pep rally. Fans lit up with excitement when they saw all their favorite characters from the show.
The event included a screening of the season four episode "The Son," and a rallying cry from Tami Taylor herself. The cast also took some time to talk about the memories they made while performing on the show and the items they still hold onto as mementos.
Friday Night Lights came to an end five years ago. Fans of the show fell in love with its vibrant cast of characters, and they kept the show going after ratings began to drop and the show's cancellation was imminent.
