How to Get Free Soup from Panera Bread Today

Soup, in my opinion, isn't only an autumn or winter food. I would gladly take a bowl of soup any time of year, no matter the temperature or weather outside. In fact, it's proven that drinking and consuming hot items actually helps your body cool down quicker because it jumpstarts your internal air conditioning, causing you to sweat. So imagine my delight this morning when I learned that Panera Bread is giving away free soup today, May 9. Here's what you need to know.

As of May 8, Panera delivery is in 43 of 50 states, covering 897 cities. Available for lunch and dinner delivery to offices, hospitals, college campuses, and your home, the new delivery service means you don't have to leave the house to indulge in your Panera fix. To celebrate the launch, the brand is having a one-day giveaway of its best-selling product with delivery orders.

Panera CEO Blaine Hurst said in a press release, "Panera delivery isn't a pilot program. It's not in just a few test markets. We now offer delivery across the country. Delivery is fueling our next phase of growth, and the success we've seen is exciting. The combination of providing clean food options via an entirely digital experience is giving us a real advantage, and the momentum is just beginning."

For today only, Panera will add a free cup of soup to your delivery order when you enter the code "PANERADELIVERS" and a place a cup of Panera soup in your cart. To participate in the giveaway, guests must place a delivery order for an item in addition to the soup, and pay the delivery fee. If this sounds good to you, just skip the meal you planned to cook and simply order in with Panera.

The only question is which soup will you get: Broccoli Cheddar soup, Black Bean soup, Creamy Tomato soup, or other seasonal favorites? Throw in an order of butter noodles for the picky eaters in your family, or order up a low-fat salad to stick to your healthy living meal plan. To place your order, head on over to
