"Online court records show Taylor was arrested Friday on a warrant from Texas for the charges ... stemming from an incident in April 2024," TMZ reported. "He was released the same day on a $10,000 surety bond."

This isn't the first time James has been arrested for these charges. He had a similar issue in 2023, involving a 19-year-old college student.

"Police say he groped and forcibly kissed the woman and threw her to the ground as she tried to leave," TMZ noted regarding the previous arrest.

James ultimately pleaded guilty to those charges in 2025. He was fined $1,000 plus court costs while also being sentenced to 80 hours of community service. There was also an order for no contact with the victim put in place.

There is currently no further information regarding Taylor's current situation or what his latest arrest could mean for him.

The Bachelorette fans will know Taylor from Season 12. He has since amassed a large online following and currently resides in Colorado.

Season 22 of 'The Bachelorette' Has Been Cancelled

It's been a rough week for The Bachelorette, as ABC made the decision to cancel Season 22. The call came just days before the debut episode was due to hit the air. Taylor Frankie Paul's current legal issues were the driving force behind the decision to cancel the season.

The final straw appeared to have been a video of Paul assaulting her partner, Dakota Mortensen, emerging online.

"In light of the newly released video that just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of 'The Bachelorette' at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family," a Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson told Rolling Stone.

With James' arrest coming just days after the decision to cancel Season 22, The Bachelorette has endured one of the worst weeks in its existence. Currently, there is no information as to whether the show will air any of the episodes for this season. If not, fans will need to wait another year until it's back on our TV screens.
