News Of Clinton's Latest Health Concern Spread Fast To His Associates
One of his unnamed allies reportedly said that the former president's condition was "not urgent or dire by any means." It is unclear who made that statement.
Clinton has weathered numerous health problems in the past since leaving the White House in 2001. Some of them have been serious.
Twenty years ago in New York, Clinton underwent quadruple bypass surgery. In 2005, he had a partially collapsed lung. Per the outlet, "He had another heart procedure in 2010, when two stents were inserted into a coronary artery. Clinton was hospitalized in Los Angeles for six days in 2021 for a urological infection that spread to his bloodstream." He has always seemed to bounce back well and resume an active life.
His Schedule Lately Has Been Quite Hectic
Clinton has kept a demanding pace recently. He gave an address at the Democratic National Convention in August in Chicago. He campaigned extensively on behalf of Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party presidential nominee. Clinton has also been busy publicizing his new book, Citizen: My Life After the White House.
Per NBC News, when he spoke at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) a few months ago, Clinton said, "I want to say this from the bottom of my heart. I have no idea how many more of these I'l be able to come to." He has reportedly addressed every DNC in the last 48 years, a truly remarkable achievement.
