A Look Back at the Career of Chase Pistone
Chase began racing at 6 years old. The grandson of racing legend "Tiger" Tom Pistone, the young driver won the Summer Shootout Championship Legends four times between 1999 and 2005. Two of those titles were as a Pro driver.
The Charlotte, North Carolina, native also had over 80 feature event wins in Legends, Late Model, and USAR competition, as reported by PEOPLE.
Chase then began competing in the ARCA Menards Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and NASCAR Xfinity Series (now the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series). He finished in the top 10 at Iowa Speedway in the No. 50 Dodge for Bobby Jones Racing.
Legends Nation said that Chase was "a fixture in motorsports and especially Legend Car racing."
"Chase was not only a wheelman in Legends and Late Models, but his Chase Pistone Inc. Legends team was a force to be reckoned with every time they showed up at a track, and they usually walked away with the winner's trophy," the publication wrote.
