Lawrence made the claim via his Instagram account, where he also shared his Universal Studios ID.

"I delayed posting this for about a month because I was hoping we could find some sort of amicable solution because I absolutely loved performing and dancing with all you amazing people," Lawrence started with the caption.

Lawrence then continued to make the claim, while also tagging his former boss in the post and sharing the HR representative's email.

"It is with a heavy heart I have to announce that my time with Universal Studios has ended because my Boss @vonblonde and her H.R. representative [email protected] wants to retaliate for reporting a suspected p*dofile around children."

The former child star said he loved his job but couldn't stay with a company that didn't take a hardline stance on protecting children.

"While I will truly miss my job I cannot be associated with an organization or people that don't care about performer or guest safety while numerous people continue to get hurt. With what I know, I WILL NEVER ALLOW MY KID TO GO TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD."

"Good for you Steven!" she wrote.

Romano's comment was one of many comments, with the recurring theme being that those who read the post weren't at all surprised by the information.

Lawrence appeared in 22 episodes of Even Stevens during his time on the show, spanning between 2001-2003. He also made cameo appearances on some other Disney Channel hits, such as That's So Raven, The Amanda Show, while also starring in The Even Stevens Movie.
