Mandel's daughter filmed the fiery explosion on her cell phone. When the video footage begins, Mandel, wearing blue overalls and holding a canned beverage, is several feet in front of his daughter.

A parked car can be seen engulfed in flames near a Food4Less store.

The former game show host is shown recording the fiery incident when his daughter warns, "Dad, it could explode."

Seconds after her warning, just as Mandel turned to face her, an explosion occurred, causing an enormous ball of fire.

Thankfully, Mandel and his daughter were unharmed in the incident.

Internet Reacts to Howie Mandel Walking Off Car Explosion

Funnily, the close shave resulted in a pretty rad photo of Mandel, with the TV personality casually walking away from the giant explosion behind him.

Social media users quickly pointed out that the photo resembled a Hollywood action flick.

"Howie Mandel's daughter was filming him next to a burning car and said, "Dad, it could explode." He turns around, it f-----g explodes, and somehow they accidentally made the hardest movie poster of 2026," an X user wrote.

"That shot better end up on a theater wall somewhere," another joked.

Another pitched a Christmas release for the phony action movie, writing, "This Christmas only in theaters: Howie Mandel in "Don't Touch Me 2."

"Main character energy right there," someone commented.

Others were relieved that the former game show host walked away unscathed.

"Way too close for comfort Glad he walked away when he did," an X user wrote.

"Yo, that's actually insane. Glad he's okay," another replied.

Mandel, 70, hosted "Deal or No Deal" for roughly 14 seasons, spanning from 2005 to 2019.

He also executive produced the spin-off series, Deal or No Deal Island.

Mandel joined NBC's "America's Got Talent" as a judge in 2010, a role he still holds today. He is the longest-running judge in the show's history.

Mandel also co-hosts the "Howie Mandel Does Stuff" podcast, where he makes prank calls, discusses pop culture and more.
