Authorities have identified another victim of the harrowing Bourbon Street attack. Tiger Bech, was a former college football star.

So far, authorities have identified seven of the 15 killed in the Bourbon Street attack on New Year's Day, and Martin 'Tiger' Bech, 27, was one of them. KLFY reported his passing and Kim Broussard, athletic director for St. Thomas More Catholic High School, announced it.
Bech played football at Princeton after playing at St. Thomas More. He graduated from Princeton in 2021 with a finance degree according to the outlet. Bech was a well-rounded player, having played wide receiver, quarterback, punt returner, and defensive back at STM.
Broussard told of the player's death in the awful attack. First responders rushed Bech to the hospital and put him on life support. There, he awaited his family. He died in a New Orleans hospital late Wednesday morning.
Saint Thomas More held a prayer service for Bech. Many will miss him.
People Pay Tribute To Martin 'Tiger' Bech
Princeton Football coach Bob Surace made a statement about Tiger Bech.
"There was no more appropriate nickname of a Princeton player I coached. He was a 'Tiger' in every way - a ferocious competitor with endless energy, a beloved teammate and a caring friend. Our last conversation was about how proud I was of the growth he showed during his time at Princeton and the success he was having after graduation. My love goes to the entire Bech family."
In the statement, Princeton shared some statistics about Bech's time as a football player. He was a member of the 2016 and 2018 Ivy League Championship teams. He achieved three touchdowns as a wide receiver and 53 catches for 825 yards.
Marty Cannon, principle at St. Thomas More, also spoke of the late football star. Cannon said, "I don't think there's ever been anybody like Tiger. I don't think there's ever going to be anybody like him because, between the athlete and the depth and the character and just the way he held himself, he was a special guy."
Many people are praying for Tiger Bech and his family as his communities mourn his loss.
