Andy Williams has sadly passed away at the age of 48. He's best known for his work with All Elite Wrestling, where he portrayed 'The Butcher' as part of 'The Butcher And The Blade' tag team. According to TMZ, Williams, who was also a member of the rock band 'Every Time I Die,' suffered a medical emergency during a tag team match at Enjoy Wrestling.

"Williams passed away Friday night following his health crisis at Mr. Small's Theater in Millvale, PA. The Butcher and his partner, The Blade, were battling TME during the Enjoy Wrestling event, leading to its prompt cancellation," TMZ reported.
Following the incident, a representative for Enjoy Wrestling posted a statement via their social media accounts.
"Andy collapsed at the end of his match this evening," the statement said. "Our doctors on staff tended to him immediately, administering CPR until the ambulance arrived. We sent everyone home and are at the hospital now, waiting for more information. Thanks to everyone who helped and has reached out."
Williams' death will undoubtedly come as a shock to the wrestling community and the global fanbase. When portraying The Butcher, Williams was somewhat of a fan favorite for his hard-hitting style in the ring. Sadly, his death came just days after Enjoy Wrestling had announced that this would be the promotion's last run of shows.

Another fan noted that they were a fan of Williams, both as a musician and as a wrestler.
"I grew up listening to Every Time I Die, and as I got older, seeing Andy wrestle as The Butcher was really cool," the fan wrote. "This really sucks. RIP Andy Williams, thank you for everything!"
