No one likes when their flight is delayed. You find yourself getting to the airport early, waiting all that time anyway, just to have to wait even longer?
And - what do you even do in that time? Sure, you can try and browse some airport shops if you want, but you still need to be ready at any time. And when the delays get too long, you need to just sit there and sleep right there on the floor... right?
Well, that sure is the case for most travelers. But for one brave runner, he wasn't just going to sit there. He was going to run instead. Of course, not to his destination, but still.
A viral clip on social media shows a pretty hilarious scene. A runner sporting a standard T-shirt, shorts, and running shoes is doing laps around an airport. The video appears to be taking place in Cleveland Hopkins Airport during a massive flight delay.
And there even appear to be some people following. Whether they're running the marathon with him or not isn't clear, but they're at least being great emotional support.
The caption of the post reads, "This guy is currently running a marathon in the airport terminal. This is the content the people need." Ain't that the truth!

The Internet Went Wild Over the Marathon Stunt
Of course, something like this is sure to inspire people online. And that's exactly what it did. Commenters were enamored by the unorthodox activity.
Some commenters were surprised at the man's self-confidence. "I feel self-conscious when I'm running on a track or at the park when there's more than 2 people and a dog around," one wrote.
"I just can't comprehend how easy it is for some people to just sweat and heave and not care that people are watching."
Another commenter wrote, "If that's not a clue to put down the sugary airport snacks, I don't know what is."
However, some commenters were less supportive and more concerned. One commenter wrote, "Walking through an airport with your stuff, trying to get to your flight on time is bad enough. Now we gotta dodge sweaty guys running a marathon?"
