Buying a house with a history can be fun, especially if it's a history linked to a famous movie or TV show. If that is what you are hunting for, you may be in luck. The Breaking Bad house that was showcased in the AMC drama starring actor Bryan Cranston is for sale. And the price has plummeted from a cool $4 million to a relatively bargain-basement $400,000.

The unfussy-looking dwelling, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, seems ideal for a comfy nest. The real estate broker handling the pedigreed property, Alicia Feil, said per Albuquerque Journal, "It's pretty exciting. I think that there'll be a lot of interest."
In TV, it was the abode of "teacher-turned-drug-lord Walter White." It's anyone guess who will own it next in real life. The house was available for over a year at the whopping price, but there were no takers. So now it's ready to sell at $400K.
The House Has Almost 2,000 Square Feet
Per the outlet, the Breaking Bad house has "four bedrooms, two bathrooms and spans 1,920 square feet." Alicia Feil is optimistic that this time, it will sell. "It's just remarkable the amount of consistent interest in it. I think it would be so neat to really bring (the show) into the house and offer a great New Mexico experience. I'm so excited about that as an opportunity for somebody; it makes me want to do it."
Someone Who Formerly Lived in the House Has Fond Memories of It
Eric Padilla recalls his youth in the house while living there years ago with his family. According to Albuquerque Journal, he said, "Gosh, we used to go hog wild, I tell you. You talk about your teenage years and you have a pool — you just had a lot of friends over and had a lot of good times. My parents used to love to entertain, and we had a bunch of close-knit friends of theirs and their kids — it was just fun."
Now, however, things are much different. Padilla's parents have passed away and his adult siblings have lives of their own. Sentimental attachment has given way to stark practicality. As Eric Padilla said, "We just want to get it sold."
