Florida Woman Allegedly Holds Two Kids At Gunpoint And Threatened To Blow Their Heads Off For Fishing

Threatening anyone with a loaded gun is already a completely unhinged thing to do, but when it's two young kids just trying to enjoy an afternoon of fishing, it's beyond the pale.

As Brayden and his friend peacefully fished in what they thought was a common land pond, an enraged woman came storming from her house. Rather than have a civil discussion with the two young men, she allegedly pointed a rifle at them and ordered them to the ground.

Despite the fact one boy clearly had a broken arm, she kept them on the floor with the weapon trained on them. She called 911 and told the dispatcher she had "stopped them and had them on the ground."

The two young men lay on the ground in fear as 59-year-old Donna Elkins waved the gun at them. "She said she was going to blow our brains out and that if we didn't listen to her, she would shoot - that she was going to blow our heads off," 15-year-old Brayen recounted.

Thankfully, one of the kids managed to shoot footage of the fishing incident. The two young boys can be seen lying on the floor as she waves the gun around and berates them. Despite their fear, they politely reply to her accusations.

Kids Worried She Would Kill Them For Fishing

Speaking to Fox13 after the incident, Brayden told of how close they thought they were to being killed. "In my head, it was a real gun,' Brayden told the outlet. "That she was going to shoot us and kill us and the fact that she was saying she was going to blow our heads off, you can't do that with a pellet gun. I really thought it was real."

The two kids were traumatized by the woman who threatened to kill them for fishing. She was clearly very possessive of the land she lived on. Rather than behaving like a normal human being, she approached two kids with a gun.

She justified her horrendous actions towards the boys by quoting a bit of broken US law. "If someone goes in your backyard, you can blow their f***ing heads off. I have a right to protect my property and my house," she screamed.

Since then, she was arrested and booked into the Brevard County Jail. As a result, she is being charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of false imprisonment. Hopefully, she will lose the right to hold a weapon, too. She has absolutely no place owning one.
