A Florida woman has been arrested after lashing out at a friend during an Uber ride. As reported by the New York Post, she used scissors to stab the man.
The woman was identified as 32-year-old Lynn Marie Zamora. She was arrested on Monday, July 13, for the attack. The pair of friends was picked up by the Best Western Plus in Miami. They were on their way to another friend's house when the shocking attack happened.
According to the arrest report, Zamora told the victim that she wanted to drink a beer in the Uber car. Upon being told she couldn't, she allegedly became "irritated" with him, insisting she could and would.
Zamora became increasingly irritated after she was repeatedly told "no". The report continues that she allegedly "removed a pair of scissors from her purse" and stabbed her friend. He received stab wounds in his bicep and calf, according to the report.
The Uber driver acted quickly, pulling over and fleeing from the car before calling 911. The victim also left the car and was taken to the hospital once paramedics arrived.
When police arrived at the scene, they immediately arrested Zamora.

Zamora Faces Prison Time Over the Uber Incident
Zamora was later charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon once she was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
She later appeared in a video call to a judge from jail on Wednesday, July 15. There, it was revealed she had a slew of previous convictions and probation.
She was on probation for a separate battery conviction in the past, which she committed against "a person aged 65 years or older." As well as this, she also had other unspecified assault and battery convictions, as well as a conviction for tampering with an electronic ankle monitor.
The judge held Zamora on probable cause. She currently has a $7,500 bond, and her next court date for this specific incident is set for August 12.
If she is convicted on the charges, she is likely to face jail time, especially due to her previous convictions.
