A Florida woman reportedly had a prolific sweet tooth that could only be satisfied with an epic crime spree of cookies and other sugar-loaded baked goods.

Indeed, a small bakery stand in Brevard County was left with "only crumbs behind" after the suspect, who authorities dubbed "bake stand bandit," was through with her cookie heist.
The Little Flour Crumbs Micro Bakery fell victim to the "bake stand bandit" on Oct. 3 just after 11 am, according to Orlando's Fox 35.
Adrianna Gonzalez, the bakery's owner, suffered at the sticky hands of the bandit due to using a commerce system long since abandoned in most places in the United States (and certainly in Florida). Yes, dear reader, the Little Flour Crumbs Micro Bakery doesn't have a clerk. They simply use the honor system with prices helpfully listed for trustworthy customers...
The bandit (allegedly!) saw an opportunity.
The Brevard County Sheriff's Office painted quite a picture of the bandit's sweet crime spree on social media.
"Now when we say she stole, we don't mean she took one more cookie than she should have. What we mean is that she took everything her hands could hold, leaving only crumbs behind and, of course, didn't pay for any of it!!" Sheriff Wayne Ivey wrote on Facebook, per SNN.
The 'Bake Stand Bandit' Made Off with $251 Worth of Cookies and Baked Goods
However, just because Gonzalez used a somewhat naive commerce system didn't mean she lacked a security camera. She turned over footage of the bandit swiping all of her baked goods to the authorities.
The "bake stand bandit" allegedly took 40 cookies, 6 banana breads, 7 mini loaves of bread, and 5 cinnamon rolls. She placed them all in a presumably very large paper bag. She then reportedly fled in a gray Ford Focus. The sweet crime spree was valued at an estimated $251. Notably, the bakery's locked cash box was left behind.
Later on the same day as the cookie heist, a Brevard County Sheriff's Office deputy spotted a gray Ford Focus outside of a shopping center near the bakery stand. Deputies spotted a woman matching the surveillance footage inside, wearing the same outfit seen in the video.
The suspect, identified as Argentina Thomason, was arrested without incident and taken to the Brevard County Jail Complex.
Of course, Sheriff Ivey couldn't help but gloat a bit about the quick arrest and seemingly open-and-shut case.
"Unfortunately for Thomason, she took an unexpected trip to Ivey's Iron Bar Lodge, where I can guarantee you the cookies and food in general are nowhere near as good as the ones she stole!!" he wrote.
Meanwhile, the final fate of all of those sweet baked goods remains unknown.
