Going under for surgery is always a scary thing. I had to go under once for orthodontic surgery and it isn't exactly a calming sight seeing a bunch of doctors stare at you just waiting for you to slip into the darkness.
Dr. Vinyard, however, has an excellent method that helps soothe his patients. He allows them to pick a song, and he sings it to them. And boy can he sing.
The latest upload to his TikTok is of him singing "The Dance" by Garth Brooks to a beaming patient. And he kills it.
The doctor runs the Vinyard Institute Of Plastic Surgery in Port St. Lucie. According to the description of the video, the singing is a "small but meaningful tradition that eases nerves and makes the experience truly personal."
Again, Dr. Vinyard can really sing. He aces the song, and his account is full of other songs he's sung to his patients. Plastic surgeon by day, country singer by night, I'm sure.

Internet Reacts To The Singing Surgeon
The singing doctor has everyone taken aback. Especially considering how beautifully he executed "The Dance." Country fans took to the comments to share their thoughts over the amazing rendition.
"The doctor everyone wants," one wrote, and I agree.
"His voice is amazing," complemented another.
"I immediately started crying and haven't been able to stop," another gushed.
"If only more doctors gave this kind of attention, people might not be so scared of anesthesia," suggested one.
"As a surgical technician...I have NEVER seen this level of care from a physician," commented a surprised viewer.
"I suddenly need surgery," joked one more.
People are all over the singing surgeon. It's a real talent he has there. If he ever wanted to branch out into singing, then he already has a huge platform who are itching to hear more from him. The moment he pulls the trigger on his singing career is the moment he'll find himself with sold out stadiums. Just you wait.
