In most cases, when restaurants offer a monthly special, it is usually a special type of rare meat. Or perhaps a decadent dessert. But one South Florida restaurant took its monthly special to the next level.

C.L.A.S.S. Steakhouse Soiree (an acronym representing culinary, luxury, and superb service) offers its patrons a nude dining experience once per month.

Murad Ali, who owns the Hollywood, Florida eatery, says that on the first Monday of each month, patrons are welcome to dine in their birthday suit and "enjoy a great dinner."
He also says that there is nothing illegal about the nude dining experience. Because the windows in the restaurant are completely covered. So only patrons can see anything that is happening inside of the restaurant.
"It's legal because the windows are completely blacked out," he said to NBC6 Miami. "No one can see from outside. Our staff is fully clothed, so there's no entertainment from us. It's just dinner. That's what makes it legal."
How did the monthly event come to be? It started when Ali hosted a private event of a similar nature. When the event turned out to be a huge success, Ali decided to incorporate it into his restaurant business.
"We have a robe that everyone is offered, we have a leather seat cushion, which is sanitized, and we also have a lap towel," he said.
However, Ali doesn't want people to be misled by the event. Although the patrons at C.L.A.S.S. get to dine in the buff once a month, the event is still very sophisticated and sanitary.

Ali also understands that nude dining is not going to be everyone's cup of tea. However, that is the point of the experience. He wants to offer patrons something that nobody else can.
"This is not your grandpa's steakhouse; this is Chef Ali's experience for people who want to do something different," he concluded. "The goal is to survive in this economy."
