A 41-year-old Florida man named Lamar Bryant has been charged with first-degree murder after allegedly killing his wife, Takeshia Eads, 42. Reportedly, Eads had recently filed for divorce, prompting Bryant to drive to her house and carry the alleged fatal crime.

According to court records reported by WESH, the incident took place in Orlo Vista on Livingston Street on March 25. The documents allege that Bryant picked up one of their daughters from school before he arrived at Eads's house. Before arriving, Bryan allegedly stopped at a liquor store and began drinking while driving.
Moments later, he stopped at a storage unit. Documents show that his daughter told investigators that Bryant kept drugs and guns inside the unit. Moreover, it is alleged that Bryant retrieved two firearms from the unit, removed them from his pockets, and placed the guns "on the center console."
Bryant later arrived at Eads's home, where Takeshia was waiting on the porch. As per the documents, Takeshia Edas entered the house and went inside the bathroom. Bryant followed her inside. Witnesses, as per deputies, report hearing gunshots shortly after.
Documents detail that after exiting the house, one of Bryant's daughters asked him, "What's going on?" Bryant answered, "Nothing." Court documents show that the couple's daughters were present at the house when the alleged murder took place.
Alleged Murderer
An arrest affidavit detailed that a 911 caller said, "My son-in-law shot my daughter." Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found Takeshia Eads in the bathroom. She had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

Orange County Sheriff's Office. As reported by WESH, Bryant, at the time of the shooting, was out on bond after he was arrested twice on unrelated cases in March.Tragically, Takeshia Eads's death leaves behind four children, a mother, and four grandchildren without a grandma.
Her oldest daughter, Cordeja Paige, spoke highly of her, remembering her fondly and lovingly.
"It was God first, her kids, and her family. She would give the shirt off her back to anybody," Paige said, as per WFTV. "It's not going to get better. So, it doesn't matter how much you love the person or how much you feel like the person is going to change, it's not going to happen. And if you do have kids, think about your kids first. She touched a lot of people, and she touched a lot of lives, so she was a good woman."
According to Gray News, Bryant is currently being held without bond. His next court date appearance is scheduled for Thursday, April 3.
