According to a Jupiter Police Department

press release, police arrested Glen DeCicco after being alerted of concerning Facebook posts. In them, DeCicco allegedly threatened to kill President Trump, including two Friday morning posts.

According to The Washington Times, DeCicco first captioned a post that read "ass-ass-inate!" at 9:33 a.m. Seven minutes later, at 9:40 a.m., DeCicco allegedly posted a more direct and troubling threat. "Winning strategy: buy QQQ, sell SQQQ today; shoot Trump tomorrow," the post read.

Other posts included, as per the New York Post, criticism of Trump's tariffs as well as support for the University of Connecticut during March Madness.

"Detectives and Special Agents interviewed the suspect and he was taken into custody by JPD without incident," the police department post concludes. Reportedly, both the Jupiter Police Department and the United States Secret Service worked together during the investigation.

On X, United States Secret Service Chief of Communications Anthony Guglielmi addressed the case.

"Thank you Jupiter (FL) PD for your swift response & partnership," he wrote. "Threats against @POTUS or any Secret Service protectee are taken very seriously. Our success often starts with tips from the public so please continue to report suspicious activity to police."

Similar Threats

DeCicco's arrest comes weeks after another Florida man, Kendal Aaron Todd, allegedly challenged President Trump to a naked fight to the death.

According to the New York Post, Todd posted a clip of himself to social media in which he declared himself the US President. "Because of Donald Trump, every single person in the world is cursed." Todd said, stating that Trump was "the Antichrist."

"Donald Trump has personally made business decisions which have hurt so many different reincarnated Jesuses," Todd added.

Eventually, according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office, Kendal Arron Todd was arrested for written threats to kill or do bodily harm. A March 17 search warrant on his residence resulted in the recovery of two handguns and over 1,000 multi-caliber rounds of ammunition. Todd is currently being held at the St. Lucie County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
