A Florida driver has found himself in legal trouble after allegedly speeding at more than 100 mph.

Christopher Jones, 29, reportedly reached 101 mph on Interstate 95 in Brevard County last Saturday morning.
Authorities say he later told deputies he was running late for a wedding.
According to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Caleb Sanchez was conducting a speed enforcement operation around 9 AM when he clocked Jones driving at the dangerous speed.

After recording the speed, Sanchez pulled Jones over and placed him under arrest. Before transporting him to the Brevard County Jail.
Jones now faces a charge of operating a vehicle over 100 mph. It is an offense in Florida that can carry up to 30 days in jail.
A $500 fine and possible license suspension could also be issued.
The sheriff's office later shared details of the incident on Instagram. They posted a photo of Jones wearing a black suit and a white dress shirt.
"At approximately 9am, Deputy Caleb Sanchez was on I-95 conducting speed enforcement, when he saw this Super Speeder coming' in hot!!," the post read.
"Christopher Jones was dressed to impress as he was on his way to a wedding and of course, was running late!! Unfortunately for him he didn't realize that in Brevard County we don't give you any warnings when it comes to violations."
