In perhaps the most Florida story ever, two women, one barefoot and wearing booty shorts, allegedly attacked and pepper-sprayed a couple for reportedly daring to walk on a road.

Felyz Rodriguez and Davin Lopez claim they were minding their own business, taking an evening stroll on Sept. 20 along a road in Northwest Miami-Dade. However, a couple of women drivers were allegedly not fans of pedestrians.
"They were like, guys, get out of the road, idiots," Lopez recalled to NBC Miami. In a story as old as time, Lopez then made a miscalculation by replying to the ladies with a "hand gesture." The women duo then allegedly did a quick U-turn to lay down a beating on Lopez and his transgender partner, Rodriguez.
"Next thing you know, one gets out and starts pepper spraying me," Lopez claimed. From there, the Florida really came out, with the ladies turning into pugilists.

NSFW video filmed by a bystander shows how things played out from there. The driver, a burly woman clad in a satin cap, white tank top, green short shorts, and ditching any footwear, appears to mercilessly pummel Rodriguez, at one point yanking at their raven locks as Lopez looks on.
"The driver gets out and starts yanking me by the hair, you see in the video, she yanks me, I'm trying my best to not put my hands on anybody because instead of trying to make it worse, I'm trying to de-escalate it," Rodriguez explained.
In the footage, eventually, Rodriguez is caught in the open door of the moving car and dragged for a few beats.
Florida Couple Had 'Bruises, Cuts, and Swelling' Following the Alleged Attack
By the time authorities arrived at the scene, the women had departed. NBC Miami reported that investigators said Rodriguez and Lopez "had some bruises, cuts, and swelling and were burning from the pepper spray."
"It's just sad, honestly. Just thinking about it, it confuses me. I'm confused, I'm distraught, I'm just traumatized at this point, honestly," Rodriguez told the outlet, perhaps forgetting about the hand gesture Lopez allegedly made at the two women.
"Is it a hate crime, is it something personal, or is it simply you have nothing to do?" Rodriguez added.
In fairness, a rude hand gesture perhaps isn't a license for a full-on assault. Rodriguez and Lopez told NBC Miami they want their alleged attackers held accountable.
"This was my life and my partner's life on the line, so whatever consequences come to them, they have to face it on their own," Rodriguez said, with the outlet adding the couple planned to press charges.
The MDSO General Investigations Unit is handling the ongoing investigation.
