When we first reported on this case on April 1, law enforcement were expecting an arrest to take place "soon". Well, now it has - and charges have also been brought against the stalker who attacked Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham with an "unknown substance".
As reported by Page Six, 54-year-old Michelle Dick has been struck with seven criminal charges, including several felonies. These include making criminal threats, assault with a deadly weapon involving a motor vehicle, stalking, and felony vandalism.
She is also facing a felony criminal threat charge over the "unknown substance" incident on March 25, as well as a misdemeanor battery charge. She has been placed on a $300,000 bai.
The March 25 incident is the one where she stalked Buckingham before throwing an unknown substance at him. While he wasn't injured, that still is a criminal offence. Dick ran away after the attack.
But, Dick has apparently been stalking the Fleetwood Mac guitarist for a long time. The outlet reported that she is alleged to have stalked him for a period of five years, between 2021 and 2026.
As well as the substance attack, Dick has allegedly harassed Buckingham in a variety of other ways. She allegedly called 911 and falsely reported that Buckingham was "suicidal", and that she had heard gunshots. This incident occurred in November 2024.

The 'Fleetwood Mac' Guitarist Filed A Restraining Order Against Dick
Buckingham reported that following the incident, a dozen officers showed up to his house and handcuffed him. This prompted him to file a restraining order following the incident. He wrote that the incident made him "shaken and fearful". As well as this, he wrote that he was "afraid her conduct may escalate into something physically dangerous to me and my family."
Even after the restraining order was granted by the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Dick still stalked the "Fleetwood Mac" guitarist. The order said that Dick had to stay 100ft away from Buckingham and his family for five years.
Dick has apparently claimed that Buckingham is her "birth father" during an interview. She also admitted that she showed up to his house "one time last year".
