LeAnn Rimes has been spending some time in the U.K. promoting her one night only show at The O2 London in May, and she found some time in her schedule to give a nod to the 2000 movie Coyote Ugly. Of course, Rimes starred in the movie as herself and contributed four songs to the flick, and in a clip she shared to Instagram, she dives back into the Coyote Ugly world.
In the video, Rimes stand behind the bar at Coyote Ugly Picadilly and recreates a famous line from the movie. Someone from behind the camera asked Rimes, "Hey, can I get a water?" Rimes then turns and says, "Hey Lil, do we serve water in this bar?" Then, a group of people respond with ""Hell no, H2O!" Rimes then sprays the camera with water.
The line comes from a moment in the movie between Rachel (played by Bridget Moynahan) and Lil (played by Maria Bello).
Fans in the comments were delighted Rimes decided to give a throwback to the movie. One fan called the clip "iconic" and another said it "sparked joy."
Rimes shared another fun clip from the bar during her trip to London. In another video, content creator Jack Remington begins to sing Rimes' "Can't Fight The Moonlight" and pretends to be annoyed when Rimes herself joins in.
"The *only* person I'd let interrupt me mid song on the bar at Coyote Ugly ahead of her London show next year," he wrote.
Rimes will be appearing at the O2 in London for one night only on May 8, 2024. She announced the show from a balcony overlooking London on Nov. 8.
"I couldn't be more excited to be back with my UK loves for one night only, in London!" she wrote in the caption. "We'll be celebrating almost thirty years of music and memories and I would love for you to join me there."
