As a fun challenge, and an excellent marketing ploy, Walker's moves have encouraged others across social media to give the jig a try. Among them? Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on TODAY.

Walker Haye's popular "Fancy Like" TikTok dance has been dominating country music news over the past month. In his original video, Hayes and his 15-year-old daughter Lela dance in unison on a porch (presumably at their home near Nashville) to Hayes' song "Fancy Like." Hayes was already a popular poster on the mobile app. But the viral video has really widened the singer-songwriter's audience.

As various TikTokers posted their own "Fancy Like" recreations, Hayes posted similar music video, on Father's Day, which featured all of his six of his children dancing in an Applebee's parking lot. It's safe to say the craze has generated some serious buzz for Hayes' fresh album Country Stuff. According to Taste of Country, the instant "Fancy Like" fandom indicates the new song's "major hit potential." Last week "Fancy Like" skyrocketed No. 1 on the Billboard Country Digital Song Sales chart.

Hoda and Jenna do not know much about TikTok — they admitted as much during their recent interview with Walker Hayes. But the NBC co-hosts have realized it's time to join the online phenomenon. And what better way to up their cred than hop on the "Fancy Like" fad? While video chatting with the country star himself, Hoda and Jenna stumbled amusingly through the routine last week.

Hoda looks extremely confused while Jenna's body rolls are, to say the least, quite spirited. Although the duo could use a little practice, A for effort. A second TikTok with behind-the-scenes pics shows Kotb and Bush Hager rehearsing the dance moves. Maybe next time, Al Roker can join them! That I'd like to see.
