Famous Country Singer Is Ready To Release a Long-Awaited Duet With His Wife

Though she has never professionally released any music, the wife of this country star will make an appearance on her husband's latest album.

Brittany Aldean, the wife of Jason Aldean, is perhaps better known for her presence on social media than for her singing ability. All that is about to change on Friday. Aldean announced he is dropping three new songs from his 12th album, set for release in April. One of those songs is expected to be "Easier Gone," a duet performed by the couple.

What Do We Know About the New Album From Jason Aldean?

The new album is slated to come out on April 24 on Broken Bow Records and Aldean's imprint, Macon Music. Production duties were handled by Michael Knox, who has collaborated with the singer on several occasions.

You may already be familiar with one of the songs on the album. "How Far Does a Goodbye Go" was released last September. He has also shared the songs  "Hard to Love You", "Lovin' Me Too Long", and "Help You Remember".

The latter track was inspired by the singer's experiences with family members suffering from dementia.

"It means the world when one of my songs helps someone through a hard time—or celebrates their best moments," said Aldean in a press release. "This album is about all of that—the highs, the lows, and everything in between."

Brittany posted about the song in November, sharing her family's own journey with dementia.

"The heartache that diseases like this bring to a family is something we know all too well," she wrote. "We hope this song brings comfort to anyone going through something similar. Love you so much Daddy."

In addition to singing with Brittany on the album, Jason has a duet with Luke Bryan on the album's title track and David Lee Murphy on "Dust on the Bottle."

The album will feature 20 songs in all, along with a world tour in support.

Wait, Can Brittany Aldean Sing?

While Brittany hasn't released any music professionally, she has been known to sing lullabies to her children on occasion. She also performed Bryan's "Drink A Beer" with Jason in tribute to activist Charlie Kirk, which went viral online.
