The 'Facts Of Life' Star Previously Opened up About Her Cancer
Unfortunately, this isn't the first time Mindy Cohn has had cancer. She was tragically diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2012. She opened up about her first diagnosis back in 2017 to People.
The Facts Of Life star recounted the day she realized something was wrong. "I was walking around my neighborhood in Los Angeles and I suddenly got so tired. I just couldn't go anymore. This was before Uber was really a thing, so I texted my friend Helen Hunt and said, 'Something's wrong with me. I need help."
She also revealed just how serious the cancer was and how it affected her mental health. "I've always been an optimist... But the cancer metastasized. It kept spreading and coming back... I was frustrated and enraged, I couldn't control any of this, I couldn't fix it."
We are so glad to hear that she's doing better, even in spite of this second battle. We hope she recovers soon!
