Patrick Godfrey has tragically passed away at 93. According to Page Six, he was most well-known for starring in 1998's Ever After: A Cinderella Story alongside Drew Barrymore.
Markham Froggatt & Irwin, Godfrey's talent agency, confirmed his tragic passing in a statement. They said he passed away on Thursday, June 4.
"It is with great sadness that we can confirm Patrick Godfrey passed away last night. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family."
"Paddy was an exceptionally talented actor and a remarkable individual, and we will miss him greatly."
A cause of death for the Ever After star has not yet been revealed.
While Godfrey was most well known for starring as Leonardo da Vinci in Ever After, he has had a long and storied acting career.
His breakout role was in the UK in 1956, after he joined the BBC's Radio Drama Company. But his first debut on television was 1972's Miss Julie, where he starred alongside Helen Mirren and Heather Canning.
He also starred in a number of other iconic films. These include 1986's Clockwise, 1993's The Remains of the Day, 2002's The Count of Monte Cristo, and 2012's Les Misérables.

Fans on social media have paid tribute to the Ever After star.
One commenter wrote, "RIP Patrick Godfrey, 93 well lived, leaving behind a lasting screen legacy." Another wrote, "A life well acted, a legacy well kept. Rest in peace."
Others referred to his many roles on television. "The beloved British actor who brought the fairy tale dad to life... A long, classy career. RIP."

He went on to talk about Godfrey's friendly nature as a neighbor. "Fate was very kind to Gary and me when we moved into Gibson Square in 2004 and had them as our neighbors. Open-hearted and warm, we felt we had landed where we belonged."
