ESPN NFL Draft analyst Matt Miller, who is currently on leave following his gruesome car crash, has been charged with a misdemeanor stemming from the crash.
According to a court filing in Jasper County, Missouri, Miller faces a charge of failure to drive on the right half of the roadway when the roadway was of sufficient width, resulting in the accident.
For Miller, the charge adds insult to injury, as the crash resulted in both legal and physical consequences. According to his family's GoFundMe, the crash left Miller with "a compound fracture of his left femur, a shattered left kneecap and multiple broken ribs." He also had to get his left arm amputated.
Miller expects his recovery to take between 12 and 18 months, The Athletic reported.

A copy of Miller's citation states the 43-year-old will have to appear in a Missouri courtroom on Sept. 21 to face the charge. A failure to show up could result in the suspension of his driver's license or even a warrant for his arrest.
The accident occurred June 17 in Jasper County.
While driving a 2023 Ford Bronco, Miller, as seen in a dashcam video, drifted from his lane into oncoming traffic and collided with a truck.
Missouri State Highway Patrol officials attributed fault to Miller for the crash.
Authorities have not stated if the ESPN analyst was under the influence of alcohol or marijuana.
On top of being blamed for the car crash that cost him an arm, Miller has also been accused of withholding prize money and charitable donations for fantasy football leagues that he organized.
Dozens of social media users have flooded Miller's posts regarding his recovery, demanding an explanation for unpaid prizes. Per Awful Announcing, a Reddit thread titled "Matt Miller Leagues and Scam" has drawn over 150 comments, with people accusing the injured analyst of stealing entry money with no intention of paying league winners.
Amid the backlash, Miller's GoFundMe has paused donations (after raising $51,147). The Missouri attorney general is opening an investigation into Miller.
