However, one person was missing and he got some attention for being a no-show. The bride's dad, Eric Roberts, was oddly absent from the gala nuptials held in Sun Valley, Idaho.

He commented on his lack of presence to Page Six. The actor's terse statement did not explain much, though. "I love my daughter, always have, always will. It is perfectly wonderful for her to celebrate however she wants, with whomever she wants." Roberts did not elaborate on why he was not there, too.
The following day, Eric Roberts was photographed, and those snaps were published by the outlet. He was allegedly exiting a gym in the Los Angeles area. Therefore Roberts "was hundreds of miles away from where his famous daughter exchanged vows with her now-husband."
Roberts Talked About His Complex Relationship With His Daughter Previously
When Eric Roberts appeared on the podcast Inside of You in October 2024, he spoke about Emma. Clearly their father-daughter bond was somewhat troubled. He shared this when questioned about the "toughest time" he's ever had. "Probably the loss of a relationship with my daughter."
Also, Roberts obliquely mentioned "a sadness for the most likely misunderstandings we'll all have forever because we're human."
Three months ago, Eric Roberts amplified additionally on Really Famous With Kara Mayer Robinson. He said then that his relationship with daughter Emma was "only complicated thorough outside eyes...because they don't get any of it."
He Has Acknowledged His Shortcomings as a Parent
